Born from a lifelong fascination with India’s rich textile heritage, Kari-Garan is my heartfelt ode to the artisans and weavers who have shaped our cultural fabric for generations. This journey began in childhood, watching my mother’s deep love for Indian saris and textiles, their colours, weaves, and stories quietly weaving themselves into my imagination.

Years later, at NIFT Mumbai, that fascination found form. Visits to artisanal clusters, conversations with master weavers, and firsthand encounters with centuries-old techniques deepened my respect for their craft. Each meeting was a reminder that these are not just fabrics - they are living traditions, each thread carrying the skill, patience, and soul of its maker.

Kari-Garan is the beginning of my mission to bring this artistry to more people, not as mass-produced fashion, but as one-of-a-kind treasures. Every sari is a story you can drape, a fragment of heritage you can make your own, and a celebration of the timeless bond between hand, loom, and heart.

One thread at a time, we keep our traditions alive.
